Qualification & Basic Requirement:

Project Manager/Team Lead: Minimum ten (10) years recent experience as Lead in monitoring and conducting project evaluations; Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Strategic Communications or related field required. Alternatively, a first degree with 15 years of experience managing M&E projects may substitute the Master’s degree. S/he must have broad technical experience with monitoring and evaluation of strategic communications and public information related projects.


The Project Manager shall be resident permanently in Mogadishu for the entire duration of the Project.


The firm is expanding its operation to achieve its full strategic goals and improving its quality of performance. This position is to lead a potential project in Somalia, Mogadishu.

Essential Personal Qualifications:

  • Timeliness is a must in this position and candidate must have a very high sense of taking
  • Responsibility for delivering results on time.
  • Team forming and team player.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent English language skills (written and verbal).

Duties, Responsibilities and Planning

  • Developing strong M&E systems require a great deal of planning. The M&E professional plays a key role in facilitating the input of project staff, partners and other stakeholders in project design and measurement activities.
  • Providing expertise in M&E planning and methodology
  • Participating in and providing support to project design activities including development of project theories of change and strategic frameworks (Results Frameworks, Log Frames)
  • Developing a Monitoring and Evaluation plan
  • Helping determine performance and impact indicators and targets
  • Providing support to proposal development for M&E components
